Goo net cars: Buy from the experts!

Goo- net is one of the biggest car listing websites in Japan with a user base of four hundred thousand vehicles being listed. It is a subsidiary of Proto Cooperation, which is a listed company. Goo-net started its operation in 1996 and has been in the industry for more than two decades. Over the years the company has evolved in technology and how they communicate with customers as a result in 2010 the Goo- net app version was introduced too. Whether you are looking for German, Swedish, American cars from Japan or JDM cars, Goo-net is the ideal platform for you.

Here are the steps to follow when buying a car on Goo net,

Step 01 Goo Net Exchange is an information-sharing platform based in Japan. While some of the dealers on this platform sell to overseas clients some of them sell at the domestic market. They will win check the details of the car as per the client’s inquiry and then send a quotation.

Step 02 Browse through thousands of vehicles and find the vehicle of your choice and sent an inquiry. Enter the information and click to confirm your inquiry. The website will send an auto-reply email as follow-up after the inquiry. Make sure to enter the correct email address to ensure you do get a follow-up mail from Goo-net. They will send you the complete cost including the freight charges.

Step 03

Once you agree on the price of the vehicle and the conditions that come with it, the Goo net team will submit a Pro-forma invoice. This invoice will be made to the consignee’s name, contact number, and address that you submit to the website. You must note that even at this time the car can be sold to someone.

If you are happy and agree with all the details provided by Goo net, you could make a TT (telegraphic Transfer) or make a credit card payment. Goo-net works with only one bank in Japan so make sure you deposit it only to that bank account.

Step 04 Shipment of the vehicle The vehicles that are list on Goo-Net are generally available in various dealerships. It usually takes up to 4 weeks to export a vehicle from Japan depending on the location to the closest harbour. The frequency of the vessel is also important since certain countries have only one vessel for a month. All the shipping documents will be couriered within one week after the vehicle is shipped.

Step 05 Collecting the vehicle from your country Buyers have the responsibility of getting the clearance from the customs. It is important to do your groundwork before you make your payment so that you have a clear idea of your investment. Goo – net has special clearance packages for Australia and New Zealand where the shipping company assists with the clearance process. Once you clear it from the local port, there’s just one thing to do – Drive into the sunset!
