Celebrities are lucky to be able to drive and own some of the most extravagant cars from the JDM. The sky is the limit for A-list celebs that can splurge on a four-wheeler that they set eyes on. We’ve seen tons of snapshots of celebs riding their mean machines while some of them love flashy models, some opt for less extravagant cars. While many of us would have maximum of two vehicles at home, most celebs have their collections. Some of these include modest rides to fancy supercars and classic collections.

There are celebs that just love Japanese used vehicles while there are those who buy American cars from Japan too, that’s if they are not from Hollywood! There are some pretty big celebs that just can’t say no, to JDM cars just like us.

Robert Downey Jr
Most of you will know him as Tony Stark aka Iron Man one of the most popular Marvel superheroes of our time. Just like Tony Stark, in real life the star loves to drive fast cars. He just can’t say no to Nissan GT-R and he prefers Japanese car than others it seems. The car is a perfect reflection to Downey Jr’s personality since its all about speed and energy!

Mel Gibson
Another one of the biggest celebs in the world, Mel Gibson likes to drive the roads of Hollywood in a very modest Toyota Cressida. This Silvery Blue car that the star is snapped going around in is definitely a Japanese used car. His car needs some work done and a new paint job! According to the tabloids this was Gibson’s way to remain incognito because who would imagine a multi millionaire like him would go around in a worn out Toyota when he can afford almost any vehicle from the Toyota line.

Paul Walker
How can we leave out this beloved star from this list? We cannot ignore the fact that Paul Walker played a very important role in bringing even more fame to the JDM. Not only is he an onscreen motor fanatic but he loved to tune cars in real life too. During his death Walker owned several Nissan Skyline GT-Rs and Toyota Supras. It’s said his family auctioned most of these from his collection.

Mark Zuckerberg
The founder of Facebook and Billionaire Mark Zuckerberg can buy ANY car of his liking. However, just like his persona he likes to keep his collection of cars very simple. Out of his collection Zuckerberg owns a Honda Fit! One of the most economical cars by the Japanese manufacturer. It’s not surprising that he also own an Acura, which is from Honda’s luxury collection. He owns an Acura TSX model, which is spacious and comfortable with a powerful 2.4litre engine! Zuckerberg also has a Nissan Infiniti G Sedan in his collection so looks like he’s an ardent fan of Japanese cars! The funny thing is most of these cars are not super luxury as we would imagine him to own.
