Japanese cars
Most Japanese cars are mass-produced. The producers use durable materials that are cost effective and easily replaceable. German cars
When we think of German cars the names that pop up are BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Porsche, all of which are synonymous with luxury. American cars
Most American cars are usually about muscle and power. High-speed engines are also a very popular feature. You don’t see the same quality standard that you see in German cars or the technological advancement of Japanese cars in American ones.

Affordability

It’s no secret that German cars are more expensive than both Japanese and American cars. German cars are expensive due to the quality and the manner in which the cars are produced. When we think of German cars we think of luxury and prestige, and this perception carries a high price tag.

If you are living in America, then it’s cheaper to buy an American car. However, compared to their European and Asian counterparts American cars are mid level when it comes to pricing.

Fuel efficiency. I think Japan needs to take the prize for this one. Japanese cars have a history for being fuel-efficient. One of the reasons that people opt for Japanese cars is their fuel efficiency. During the world oil crisis in the early 70’s, the Japanese car market boomed since the majority of cars are fuel-efficient.

When you compare American and German cars the latter has lower fuel efficiency. The reason behind this is that American manufacturers do not need to go through rigorous fuel economy checks unlike its European counterpart.

Japanese, German and American car manufacturers have numerous advantages, which attracts car owners. However, the only thing that the Americans or the Germans don’t have is massive auto auctions that you find in Japan.
